　　In the verdant mountains of Sichuan, an extraordinary art form that transforms nature’s ephemeral beauty into enduring marvels. Recognized as a provincial level intangible cultural heritage in 2023, Luzhou butterfly painting uses actual butterfly wings to craft luminous artworks. Local artisans gather wings solely from butterflies that have completed their natural life span, frequently sourcing them from adjacent protected forests teeming with over 200 species.
　　The crafting process is a testament to patience. Initially, artists categorize wings by size and hue—some as minuscule as rice grains, others adorned with stained-glass-like patterns. With bamboo tweezers and homemade rice paste, they meticulously arrange these fragments on rice paper. A single painting may require 500 wings and three weeks of labor.
　　Beyond serving as mere aesthetic ornaments, these paintings convey significant messages. At Luzhou No.3 High School, students engage with butterfly art to grasp ecological concepts. The local government employs these artworks to advocate for wildlife conservation efforts. As the world accelerates, Luzhou’s artisans remind us that even the most fleeting existence can yield lasting beauty.

　　在四川的苍翠群山间，一种非凡的艺术形式将自然的刹那芳华淬炼为永恒奇迹，这就是2023年被列入四川省第六批省级非物质文化遗产代表性项目名录的泸州蝴蝶画。当地手艺人采集自然死亡的蝴蝶翅膀，创作出流光溢彩的画作。这些蝶群多来自栖息着200多个品种的毗邻林区。
　　泸州蝴蝶画制作过程堪称耐心的极致体现。蝴蝶翅膀有些小若米粒，有些纹饰如彩绘玻璃，匠人首先将蝶翅按尺寸与色泽分类，再用竹镊与自制米浆，将万千蝶翅碎片在宣纸上精心排布。制作一幅作品往往需耗费500片蝶翅与三周心血。
　　这些作品不仅是装饰品，更承载着深远寓意。在泸州三中，学生们通过蝴蝶画艺术领悟生态保护理念；当地政府借助这些作品推广野生动物保护。当世界步履匆匆，泸州匠人用蝶翅告诉我们：即便最短暂的存在，亦能成就永恒之美。
