　　Water flows through the rugged grandeur of the mountains. Trees stretch their branches toward the vast sky. Men with their upper bodies naked press their feet deep in the soil. Flowers blossom from the hands of the women with silky hair. These women preserve the everlasting joy of labor in a special form of art — the Bashan Paper-Cutting.
　　It is unbelievable how boldness and intricacy coexist in this art. It defies imagination that the very soil which is supposed to fertilize the crops instead gives birth to a silent poetry written with scissors and paper. Every breath drawn into their lungs, every drop of dew resting quiet on the morning leaves, every story told by grandmothers at bedtime — the women transform what they see, hear, taste, and dream into exquisite masterpieces.
　　The themes of thus art cover various aspects of life — from natural landscapes and local customs to myths, legends, and agricultural events. Its content is rich, yet its form remains remarkably concise.All in pure red, the paper-cutting projects the festivity and vitality of mountain life, showing the purity and sincerity of the emotional world of the local residents.
　　When you place your fingers on the vigorous lines of the art, your heartbeat seems to echo that of the mountaineers. The wildness of the cattle rushes through your blood. All in one blink, with the Bashan Paper-Cutting.

巴山剪纸：源自大地的艺术
　　水流过峰峦的峻峭，树木向着浩瀚的天空伸展枝丫。赤膊的汉子们，将双脚深扎进泥土。花朵从秀发如丝的女子指间生长。她们将劳动中永恒的欢愉，贮藏于一种特殊的艺术形式——巴山剪纸。
　　粗犷与细腻竟能如此交融，堪称奇迹。这片本应滋养稼穑的土地，竟孕育出剪刀与纸写就的无言诗篇，实在超乎想象。纳入肺腑的每一次呼吸，晨叶上悄然栖息的每一滴露水，祖母在床边讲述的每一个故事——女人们将所见、所闻、所尝、所梦，尽数化为精妙的杰作。
　　剪纸的题材包罗万象，涵盖自然景观、乡土风情、神话传说与农事节庆。内容何其丰饶，形式又何其凝练。通体纯粹的红色，投射出山野生活的喜庆与鲜活，展露着当地人情感世界的质朴天真。
　　当指尖轻抚那遒劲的线条，便能感受到自己的心跳，与山中之人的频率渐渐重合，狂野气息，霎时间奔涌过你的血脉。这一切，尽在巴山剪纸闪现的瞬息之间。
